Aide to the Governor Role
The primary function of this role is to provide administrative and logistical support to the Governor. This involves assisting with the coordination of events, engagements and visits at Government House, throughout Victoria, and overseas.
Key responsibilities include policy development, protocol advice, and ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place for official engagements. Additionally, the Aide will be responsible for providing direct support to the Governor and Official Secretary on a day-to-day basis.
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to possess strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically and strategically. They will also be highly motivated, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key qualifications include:
* Relevant tertiary qualification or extensive relevant experience
