**The role**:
ANI's are an integral to the day to day operations of the aged care facility and deliver frontline personal care services to residents, ensuring consumer choice, safety and dignity. You will provide the highest level of quality individualised care to residential aged care residents including:
- Provide personal care to assist residents to meet their daily living needs through provision of optimal comfort, hygiene, social, physical, nutrition and hydration as per nursing care plan and at all times with consideration of individual preferences.
- Implement activities which maintain and promote the physical, mental, social creative and psychological aspects of the residents.
- Observe the condition of residents and report any changes
- Complete resident clinical assessments and documentation
- Provide support as required to allied health team in various activities
- Support staff involved in admissions of new residents and ensure new residents are welcomed and settled in.
- Undertake and participate in relevant training/activities provided in relation to Work Health & Safety
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Participate and contribute to quality activities which promote quality improvement to care/service provided.
- Provide support in the orientation and mentoring of new employees
**What we're looking for**:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Current vaccinations or willingness to obtain (flu and hep b)
- Demonstrated skills and experience in
- Aged care or home care
