The Role
A large government department is seeking an experienced customer support/call centre officer to provide support in a high-volume call centre environment. You will build relationships with customers and contractors, whilst arranging for responsive maintenance for government properties.
Your duties will include:
* Arranging responsive maintenance for Government owned properties
* Answering or making customer calls to address their maintenance needs
* Raising work orders
* Liaising with various trades and stakeholders for maintenance needs
* Providing administration support as needed
* Providing a high level of customer service
* Engaging with callers to confirm or clarify information and calming angry customers, as needed.
You
* Experience in a high-volume customer service environment
* Insurance repairs or property maintenance knowledge advantageous
* Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and Word.
* Problem-solving, negotiation and de-escalation skills
* Exceptional customer service, active listening and verbal and written communication skills
* Strong time management and decision-making ability
