Facilitator/Coach or Parent Mentor in Bundaberg

We are currently looking to fill two positions:
1. Facilitator/Coach to deliver Employability Skills Training (EST) to participants virtually. You will mentor and facilitate the program to create real opportunities. This role is based in one of our offices in Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, or Maryborough. It is part of a government-initiated program aimed at developing job-ready skills, building confidence, engaging with technology, and enhancing competitiveness in the local labor market.
2. Parent/Carer Mentor - a full-time position based in Bundaberg. This role supports parents/carers with children under six through the Parent Pathways program, which is a voluntary government initiative to assist parents in employment or educational pursuits. The ideal candidate will have lived parenting experience and a passion for supporting families. Responsibilities include one-on-one mentorship, facilitating workshops, developing educational resources, and collaborating with community organizations.
Requirements for the Facilitator/Coach role:
* Experience in Workforce Australia or Employment Services (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to network with potential employers and build relationships
* Confidence in promoting programs to Employment Service providers
* Proficiency with technology and strong administrative skills
Responsibilities for the Parent/Carer Mentor include:
* Providing personalized mentorship and support to parents
* Helping parents overcome barriers and achieve employment or educational goals
* Facilitating relevant workshops and group sessions
* Creating engaging educational materials
* Fostering a supportive environment for sharing experiences
* Collaborating with community organizations
* Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness
