About You

You are a senior infrastructure leader with deep experience in bridge and tunnel asset management, who understands how to lead through influence in complex, multi‐party environments.

You bring strong asset management discipline, risk‐based thinking and the ability to integrate strategy, data and delivery considerations into clear, actionable programs. You are comfortable working across organisational boundaries, shaping outcomes without direct delivery control, and providing confident advice to senior executives.

You will lead three core outcomes:

* Risk –based Program Reliability. Lead the development of risk‐based, data‐led bridge and tunnel maintenance programs that prioritise critical assets, support whole‐of‐life management, and provide a clear, defensible basis for statewide investment decisions.
* Integrated Program Control and Clarity. Establish clear program governance, prioritisation logic and program intent for bridge and tunnel assets, ensuring consistent integration into the statewide Program Prioritisation & Integration pipeline and effective program handover.
* Network Outcomes and Customer Impact Awareness. Ensure that bridge and tunnel programs are designed with a clear understanding of customer, freight and community impacts, enabling delivery teams to plan and deliver works that protect safety, network availability and public confidence.

You have led multi‐disciplinary teams through periods of change, setting clear expectations, strengthening capability and driving greater consistency across complex operating environments. Your experience includes overseeing large‐scale asset programs and influencing outcomes across planning, governance and delivery interfaces, with a strong understanding of how to shape performance without direct operational control.

You are confident engaging across all levels of the organisation - from technical specialists and delivery partners through to senior executives and Ministers' offices - and are able to translate complex asset, risk and program considerations into clear, credible advice. You bring sound judgement, an appreciation of public‐sector decision‐making, and the ability to operate effectively in a visible and politically sensitive environment.

This role will suit a proven senior leader who is motivated by system‐level impact and long‐term public value. You bring the credibility and discipline to strengthen asset management practice, program integration and decision clarity at scale, and the leadership maturity to influence outcomes across organisational boundaries to improve safety, resilience and network performance for the people of NSW.
