We welcome participants with NDIS self-management and plan management, as well as Medicare and private patients.PositionOccupational Therapist – Full Time/Part TimeAs an Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing specialised services to individuals of all ages and backgrounds to promote independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life. As a part of our dedicated team, you will have the unique opportunity to provide home-based services to our clients, bringing compassionate care and support directly to their doorstep.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their functional abilities and identify areas of improvement.Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment outcomes to address specific goals and challenges.Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve clients' fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional mobility.Collaborate with clients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and client-centered approach to therapy.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standardsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals, to provide cohesive and integrated careMonitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.One day per week you will be conducting home visits, traveling on the road to reach our clients.Qualifications and Skills:Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRAExperience working within the community and providing supports and services under the NDISHave a current Working with Children Check (or prepared to obtain)Have a current driver’s license and access to carExcellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients of diverse backgroundsProfessional Development through the practice and budget allocationPeer Supervision and Regular practice meetingsSupportive administration team that includes assistance with client bookings, diary management, and other general duties.A realistic client load designed to support clinician wellbeing and work/life balanceSupportive workplace culture and a positive work environmentHow to Apply:To join the team at Elevated Psychology and Supports, email your resume, cover letter and any relevant certification or licenses to info@elevatedpsychandsupports.com.
