Job Description
Acciona Agua Australia, a global leader in sustainable water infrastructure, is invitingexpressions of interestfor aSenior Electrical/Lead Engineerto support the delivery of major water projects across New South Wales.
This pivotal role will contribute to the successful execution of large-scale infrastructure initiatives, including desalination and conventional water treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep electrical engineering expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a collaborative approach to project delivery within the water sector.
Project Delivery Leadership
* Lead the electrical design, implementation, and commissioning of major water infrastructure projects.
* Provide senior technical oversight during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
* Ensure compliance with electrical design intent, technical specifications, and project milestones.
* Resolve complex technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Tendering & Design Support
* Collaborate with bid teams to ensure electrical design alignment during tender phases.
* Review and refine technical documentation, cost estimates, and design strategies.
* Support the development of competitive and compliant proposals.
Procurement & Coordination
* Work closely with procurement teams to define electrical scopes and technical requirements.
* Oversee vendor engagement, RFQ processes, and equipment selection.
* Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a key technical liaison with clients and project partners.
* Present electrical solutions and lead discussions to ensure stakeholder confidence.
* Foster strong relationships to support future project opportunities.
Required Skills and Competencies
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project delivery or technical tendering.
* Proven leadership in electrical design and delivery for desalination or water treatment projects.
