Position Highlights

The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.

This part-time role is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 28 January 2026. We welcome applications from recent graduates as well.

About You

As a Music/Drama/Dance Teacher (2 days- Wednesday/Thursday), you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- demonstrate sound knowledge in implementing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- foster a love of creative and performing arts in a positive classroom environment where all learners can thrive
- demonstrate a knowledge of the new 2026 music syllabus and begin implementation
- demonstrate a passion for Dance and the ability to choreograph performances for school events
- teach students drama skills in making and performing
- be committed to the school wide Creative and Performing Arts performances such as choir, items for school events and Masses
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural setting for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
