We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for setting up and managing project models and drawing sets in accordance with the Building Information Modelling (BIM) Execution Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Revit families/AutoCAD blocks and standard details.
* Produce reinforcement detailing and schedules (bar bending lists) for walls, slabs, tanks, and associated structural components.
* Detail construction and movement joints, penetrations, and waterproofing elements to meet durability and leakage performance.
* Coordinate interfaces with civil, geotechnical, mechanical and architectural disciplines; participate in model reviews.
* Prepare concept, tender and construction deliverables (General Arrangement plans, sections, details, notes) and manage revisions, transmittals, and document control in the common data environment.
* Assist with quantity take-offs from models/drawings and support buildability reviews.
* Support design verification and QA/QC: check prints, red pen mark ups, self-checks, peer reviews, and maintain drafting checklists.
* Provide construction-phase support: respond to Requests for Information, issue mark-ups/sketches, and produce as-built/record drawings.
* Contribute to continuous improvement: maintain templates and standards, capture lessons learned, and mentor junior drafters.
