* Software Engineers also known as Senior Developers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
* As a SAP Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining and testing SAP solutions that support the agency's business processes. You will work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and other IT specialists to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient SAP applications in line with government standards.
Key duties and responsibilities
Duties may include some or all of the following:
* Develop, configure, and maintain SAP modules
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Design, code, test, and implement SAP enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
* Support integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.
* Identify, investigate and resolve SAP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Provide technical advice and mentoring to junior developers.
* Participate in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
* develop and deliver on projects within the assigned area of responsibility
* perform cost analysis activities as required
* work collaboratively and embrace agile ways for working
Technical skills
Including (but not limited to):
* SAP CRM
* SAP S/4 HANA
* SAP ABAP - may include experience in CRM and ECC modules or exposure to data service
* SAP BRF+
* SAP UI5
* SAP FIORI
