About the Job
We are looking for a HR Manager for our production facility in Henderson. This will be a full‐time position.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the HR function operates efficiently and all processes are accurate and legally compliant.
* Oversee recruitment, including the recruitment of senior roles.
* Provide direction and support to the HR Administrator.
* Organise contracts, change of conditions and employee assessments/performance reviews.
* Provide timely and accurate advice, support and coaching on all HR activities to leaders and employees.
* Manage a variety of employee relations matters.
* Work with Quality to ensure ISO 9001 accreditation is maintained in relation to HR compliance.
* Provide guidance on award interpretation to payroll and People Leaders.
* Develop and review all HR policies, procedures, job descriptions and work instructions.
* Manage the employee lifecycle processes and ensure they are legally compliant and efficient.
* Develop tools to analyse and interpret HR data to identify trends.
* Assist in the design, development and implementation of attraction and retention strategies and initiatives.
* Assistance in the design, development and implementation of the induction process in conjunction with HSEQ.
* Be a driver and advocate for employee engagement.
* Support HR related projects and provide training as required.
* Assist in the management of non‐work‐related injury management and return‐to‐work processes.
* Interpret and work in accordance with relevant Echo Marine Group policies and procedures.
* Other relevant duties as directed by the Chief Operating Officer.

Training
The HR Manager will be provided with training where required, to equip them in fulfilment of their position. Initial training will be in the following areas:
* Inductions.
* Courses, seminars and CCIWA information sessions to keep updated in changes and developments to employment legislation and HR practices.

Perform duties in accordance with relevant occupational safety & health, environmental and equal opportunity legislation.
Quality Management
Work in accordance with Echo Marine Group's Quality Management System.
Qualifications
* Qualifications in Human Resources management, Employee and Industrial Relations or equivalent, or progression towards these with significant relevant experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience at a senior level in a broad range of HR functions.
* Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and build strong relationships with all levels of the organisation.
* Must be eligible to obtain an active Defence Security Clearance.
Preferred Minimum Requirements
* Previous significant experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of and experience in a boat building environment.
