We are seeking experienced and passionate Support Workers to support participants across our SIL Accommodation Services, daily living supports, and community access.
As an Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with participants by providing personalised clinical and disability-related support. You will help participants enhance their daily living skills, build confidence in their health and wellbeing, and strengthen social and community connections — promoting independence and safe living within the community.
About You:
* Can work on a rotating roster within Sunshine Coast, Caloundra,Woombye
* Has strong interpersonal skills and experience in mental health care, including a sound understanding of NDIS requirements.
* Is passionate about supporting individuals to achieve their goals and live meaningful lives.
* Competent in providing personal care supports including assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and continence management.
* Experienced with manual handling tasks and safe work practices.
* Experience supporting participants in Supported Independent Living environments, advocating for their choice and control.
* Confident in delivering supports in participants’ homes and the community, including medical appointments, shopping, and recreational activities.
* Demonstrates a trauma-informed approach and promotes dignity of risk.
* Minimum one year of experience managing behaviours of concern and applying Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
* Highly values honesty, integrity, and professional accountability.
* Able to set clear and compassionate boundaries in line with organisational policy.
* Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to support needs.
* Empathetic, attentive listener, and maintains high standards of documentation and clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical supports within scope of practice under RN supervision, including medication administration and health monitoring.
* Support participants with ASD Level 3, Reactive Attachment Disorder, PTSD, and complex psychosocial needs.
* Work with individuals who present with moderate to high behaviours of concern.
* Follow behaviour support plans and procedures to ensure safe and consistent support delivery.
* Deliver intensive daily supports to adults and young people, including personal care and health-related supports.
* Complete accurate documentation including shift notes, progress reports, incident reports, and clinical data entries.
* Assist with attending appointments, community access, and social participation activities.
* Undertake meal planning and preparation.
* Complete light household duties to maintain a safe living environment.
Essential Criteria:
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Australian Driver Licence.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating roster including days, nights, weekends, active/inactive overnights.
* Right to work in Australia.
* Experience in manual handling and safe physical support techniques.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Enthusiasm for supporting individuals with psychosocial, intellectual, and physical health needs.

Pay: $40.00 – $42.00 per hour
