What you will do
* Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components.
* Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.
* Provide frontline technical and repair support through effective communication with Johnson Controls customers.
* Offer system repair and update recommendations, and assist in proposing solutions to Johnson Controls customers.

How you will do it
* Load Johnson Controls field and network level controller software.
* Perform commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers and end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators), completing all required documentation.
* Keep management and contractors or customers informed of job progress and issues.
* Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
* Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
* Document changes and contribute to as-built documentation.
* Engage in company-sponsored and personal training to maintain high knowledge and capability levels.
* Engage with customers to understand their systems and needs thoroughly.
* Communicate with contractors or customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
* Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training, maintaining a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications.
* Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
* Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
* Solid knowledge of personal computer use.
* Attention to detail.
* Good communication and listening skills.
* (Depending on location, mounting and termination of low voltage devices may require special licensing.)
