About the role
We are seeking an experienced Landscaper/Gardener to join our dynamic team at SJK Gardening and Maintenance in Bunbury, Western Australia. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing expert gardening and landscaping services to our residential and commercial clients. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in maintaining the beautiful green spaces within our local community.
What you'll be doing
1. Carrying out general gardening duties such as mowing, edging, pruning, and weeding
2. Planting and maintaining a variety of plants, flowers, and trees
3. Assisting with landscaping projects, including installing paving, constructing garden beds, and laying turf
4. Driving from job to job
5. Providing exceptional customer service and responding to client requests in a timely manner
6. Maintaining and operating gardening equipment and tools safely and effectively
7. Adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines and procedures
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar gardening or landscaping role
2. Strong practical gardening and landscaping skills, including knowledge of plant varieties, horticultural techniques, and equipment use
3. Excellent time management and organisational abilities to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
4. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
6. Current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
7. Commitment to safe work practices and environmental sustainability
