We employ over 400 staff in our 13 offices across Victoria, New South Wales and Northern Territory.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Water Service Coordinator (WSC) Engineer to join our growing Water Services team. This role is ideal for someone with strong design experience who wants to deepen their technical capability and step into more complex coordination and design work over time.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver Sydney Water–accredited designs across sewer, water, recycled water and pressure sewer systems.
* Prepare and manage submissions for Service Protection Reports, minor works, major works and asset creation.
* Undertake detailed design using AutoCAD, applying Sydney Water standards, codes and digital requirements.
* Coordinate with internal disciplines (surveying, planning, civil, environmental, traffic) and external stakeholders.
* Engage with clients, councils, Sydney Water and constructors to ensure project clarity and smooth approvals.
* Provide strategic input into process improvements and project delivery approaches.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Water Service Coordination with strong design capability.
* Have C2, C3 or C4 competence levels per Sydney Waters Engineering Competency Standards with a range of comparable projects
* Strong understanding of Sydney Water processes, DTC pathways, codes and digital design requirements.
* Proficient in CAD packages relevant to the role.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
* Experience in catchment analysis, servicing strategies and feasibility assessments.
* Experience with FIFM, minor works and major works deed processes and constructor engagement.
