The main responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to): Requirements Gathering & Analysis Capture, analyse, and document business needs from clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders, translating them into clear, testable functional and non-functional requirements for AI-enabled solutions. Lead workshops and structured elicitation activities to ensure requirements are well-defined, complete, and ready for technical delivery. Partner with stakeholders across multiple business units to understand varied needs and convert them into actionable technical criteria. AI Opportunity Identification & Strategy Identify, assess, and articulate high-impact opportunities for the application of AI across the organisation. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategy and uncover new use cases for AI adoption. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Facilitate effective collaboration between technical teams (including data science and engineering) and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared understanding. Translate complex AI and technical concepts into clear business impacts, options, and recommendations. Support change management activities to enable adoption of new capabilities and ways of working. Act as a change agent, helping teams transition to AI-enabled processes and workflows. Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, reporting on outcomes, value delivered, and key insights. Governance, Risk & Compliance Embed governance, security, and ethical considerations into requirements and solution design, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organisational standards. Support planning, analysis, risk, and dependency management, alongside core operational processes for AI delivery teams. Define, map, and optimise AI operating models, including governance structures, support arrangements, risk management, policies, and procedures. AI Lifecycle Management Contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions, from ideation and requirements definition through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Key Skills: 3 years' experience as a business analyst in a technology function, preferably working with data, AI or machine learning Background in Healthcare or a data driven function are preferred. Experience in an incubator or innovation management function are well regarded. CBAP, CBDA or PMI-PBA certified, with the ability to apply appropriate BA tools to various scenarios Proven track record in delivering value orientated solutions leveraging AI & Machine Learning. Experience operating under agile or hybrid project management frameworksFamiliarity with AI or machine learning tools or concepts, including model lifecycle management, bias, explainability or ethical considerations Understanding of data governance, privacy, and security standards relevant to AI.
