Technical Lead for Clinical Evidence Evaluation

About the Role
The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is the leading advocate for surgical standards, professionalism, and education in Australia and New Zealand. As a not-for-profit organisation, we represent over 8,600 surgeons and support healthcare education in the Asia-Pacific region.
Our Research & Evaluation department conducts health technology assessments for national and international policy makers, producing high-quality research reports to inform medical decision-making.
You will work as part of our ASERNIP-S research team, responsible for completing HTA projects and providing methodological guidance to research staff. Your primary objective is to ensure project teams possess the necessary skills to deliver HTA projects successfully.
Skill and Experience
* Ability to apply systematic review techniques and research principles for evaluating clinical evidence
* Understanding of epidemiological and biostatistical concepts for clinical data synthesis and interpretation
* Excellent literary and report writing skills with attention to detail
* Experience in mentoring and supervising staff for research projects
* Leadership experience in managing multiple projects, deadlines, and resources
* Effective communication and stakeholder relationship management
* Publishing record in peer-reviewed journals
This role involves ongoing full-time work based in Kent Town, Adelaide.
