About Us
Endeavor Mine is a major underground silver, lead and zinc operation located 40km north-west of Cobar in Central-West NSW.
Since acquisition by Polymetals, the site has entered an exciting restart and growth phase supported by a long-term mine plan, strong investment and a focus on building a modern, high-performing operation. As production ramps up, the business has adopted a simplified and integrated operating model designed to improve cross-functional alignment, streamline decision-making and deliver sustainable operational performance across the entire site.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager and forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Operations Manager is accountable for the overall operational performance of the Endeavor Mine.
This is a whole-of-site leadership role, responsible for integrating Mining and Technical Services to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective production outcomes.
Unlike traditional department-based management positions, this role provides broad operational oversight across multiple functions and drives site-wide coordination, performance, strategy and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide whole-of-site operational leadership across Mining and Technical Services, with strong inter-department coordination
* Lead and develop Superintendents to deliver safe, reliable and efficient production outcomes
* Align planning, maintenance and production schedules to optimise overall site performance
* Drive productivity, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives
* Contribute to life-of-mine planning and operational strategy
* Oversee contractor strategy, workforce capability and operational reporting
* Maintain effective risk management, safety systems and governance frameworks across the site
* Ensure compliance with NSW mining legislation, including holding and discharging Mine Engineering Manager (non-coal) statutory obligations
About You
* Extensive operational leadership experience across multiple mining or heavy industrial functions
* Proven success leading technical and operational teams in production environments
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing cost, productivity and performance outcomes
* Demonstrated ability to integrate maintenance, production and technical services into a cohesive operating model
* Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management capability
* Strong knowledge of NSW mining legislation and operational risk management frameworks
* A current NSW Mine Engineering Manager (non-coal) Practising Certificate, or the ability to obtain one, to support statutory compliance requirements
