Role: Room Attendant
Location: Accor Ettalong, New South Wales, Australia
Mantra Ettalong Beach combines ocean views with the relaxed atmosphere of a friendly seaside village. This property offers studio, one and two bedroom suites and a resort-style pool. The area provides access to white sandy beaches, calm waterways and national parks.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all sections of guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces to ensure an exceptional first impression.
- Work within established guidelines to maintain impeccable standards.
- Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organized and well equipped.
- Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
- Respect guest privacy and security, upholding the commitment to guest comfort.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure a flawless guest experience.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
- Warm and welcoming communication style with guests and team members.
- Attention to detail, efficient time management, and pride in task completion.
- Physically capable of moving between rooms and navigating internal/external pathways.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Compensation and Benefits
- Casual loading on all hourly rates with base rate of $25.85. With loadings: Monday-Friday $32.31ph, Saturday $38.78ph, Sunday $45.24ph, Public Holidays $64.63ph.
- All team members aged 16+ eligible for adult wages.
