Senior Textile Specialist
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development and management of high-quality textiles.
This role is critical to ensuring that our fabrics and trims meet stringent quality, environmental, and compliance standards.
* You will lead research and development efforts to create innovative textile solutions that meet customer needs.
* Maintain and manage a comprehensive library of fabric materials, including test data and compliance records.
* Develop and implement effective material sourcing strategies to reduce duplication, consolidate volume, and improve lead times and cost.
* Verify and document all fabric developments through rigorous testing and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver cost-optimised development outcomes and develop clear costing strategies.
2. Evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
3. Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external supply partners.
4. Support continuous improvement initiatives around cost, quality, and delivery from the supply base.
