This includes Paediatrics (aprroximately 17 % of presentation), Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Stroke Service.**The Position*** Champion patient-centered care, service excellence, and quality improvement initiatives.* Provide visible and proactive leadership to inspire a culture of clinical excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.* Role-model ethical decision-making and support staff development through mentorship, coaching, and performance management. Lead change initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure team alignment with organisational goals.* Maintain accountability for delivering safe, high-quality emergency care, adhering to clinical governance standards, and meeting key performance and service targets.* Ensures efficient use of human and physical resources so that the specialty operates within the allocated financial, bed and clinic resources* Works as a Consultant to provide specialist medical services to patients within the specialty.* Participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment.
