The Company:
Our client is a well‑established civil contractor with a strong track record of delivering water infrastructure and civil projects across QLD. They have built a supportive, collaborative, and team‑oriented culture where everybody supports one another and everyone has a voice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programming & planning – assisting with the development of construction programs, tracking progress, and helping ensure key milestones are achieved.
* Procurement support – helping prepare subcontractor and supplier packages, reviewing quotes, and supporting selections in line with project needs.
* Cost control – monitoring project costs, updating registers, and providing basic financial input to support the project team.
* Resource coordination – organising labour, plant, and materials to keep daily site activities running smoothly.
* Site management & inspections – supporting day‑to‑day site operations, conducting inspections, and working closely with supervisors and site teams to maintain quality standards.
* Safety, environmental & quality compliance – following company HSEQ processes, assisting with documentation, and helping maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
What You Need to Succeed:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in site based roles supporting the construction delivery of civil works, including roads, earthworks, pipelines, etc.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Possess a positive attitude, be well‑organised, and work effectively within a team environment
