Lock in a long-term workshop role close to home while still working on high-end underground equipment. $55.00ph - $65.00ph super Plenty of OT available Roster Flexibility: 5:2 Days or 4:3 Afternoons Hours: 10 Hour days Be home every night - no FIFO, no nights Perth-based workshop role OEM-standard rebuild facilities & tooling OEM Training and develop with progression into specialist roles The Role Working within a Perth-based OEM workshop, you will play a key role in preparing underground drill rigs and mobile equipment for delivery to site, ensuring all machines meet strict OEM and safety standards. As a Pre-Delivery Technician, your responsibilities will include: Conducting fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting on new and rebuilt equipment Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) in line with OEM specifications Assisting with testing, commissioning and final machine sign-off prior to site deployment Performing minor rectification work and component adjustments where required Supporting continuous product improvement and feedback loops with internal teams Working closely with rebuild and assembly teams to ensure quality, reliability and consistency Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and attention to detail across all work What You'll Need Mechanical trade qualification OR relevant workshop experience Entry-level, experienced or dual-trade backgrounds considered Exposure to mobile plant, underground equipment or heavy vehicles highly regarded Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Pride in producing high-quality, compliant work Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A Why Make the Move?
