Strategic Biodiversity Planning Lead
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing strategic biodiversity planning policy and providing guidance to support land-use planning initiatives.
* Develop and implement biodiversity planning policy and projects that meet legislative requirements and community aspirations.
* Provide expert advice on legislative, policy, and business requirements to support informed decision-making across internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Manage complex projects, including specialist project teams and external consultants where required.
* Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and foster collaborative approaches.
You will be responsible for taking a lead role in developing strategic biodiversity planning policy and providing guidance to support a variety of land-use planning initiatives. This includes contributing to the development of City of Moreton Bay's New Planning Scheme program and other city-shaping projects as needed.

Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in environmental science, planning, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in biodiversity planning policy and project management.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
