Administrator, Kitchen & Hospitality
The Administrator, Kitchen & Hospitality is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support to ensure the effective, efficient, and compliant operation of the Kitchen and Hospitality team at Nyaal Banyul.
The position is accountable for maintaining accurate and current data, resource lists, and price lists within the Resort Executive menu management program and Event booking management system (EBMS), ensuring all information reflects the latest menus and operational requirements.
Additionally, the Administrator acts as the central coordination point for the creation of kitchen production schedules, generation of labels and reports, and the management of operational enquiries.
This role will be required to work Monday to Friday, however there may be an adhoc requirement for work to be performed outside of standard operating hours from time to time.

On the Geelong Waterfront, Nyaal Banyul will be Australia's newest convention and event centre.
Operated by the Victorian Convention and Exhibition Trust (VCET), this premier venue features a 1,000-seat theatre and 3,700 square meters of versatile event space, ready to host everything from community gatherings to major conferences and entertainment events.

More About the Role
Monitor and respond to key stakeholder requests regarding culinary and F&B enquiries and quotes with timely and accurate information.
Maintain accurate costing and pricing information to ensure the kitchen teams have access to accurate resources so they can achieve results that assist in maintaining food cost and labour percentages.
Create kitchen, food and beverage documentation, resources, policies, training and procedures.
Continual management of data entry (recipes), update and co-ordinate EBMS food resources, price lists and Resort Executive menu management program to ensure they are current with existing menus.
Update Catering-specific documents and resources in coordination with Marketing, particularly for menu planning updates.
Oversee the end-to-end purchase order placement for food and beverage products, including order placement, supplier liaison, and resolution of overdue or delayed deliveries, invoices, and payments.
Contribute to effective stock management through the coordination of monthly stocktakes, preparation of reports, end of month accruals, and completion of end-of-month close-off requirements.
Provide guidance to Casual Kitchen Administration staff during peak periods, including training, supervising and signing timesheets.
About you
Previous experience in a Kitchen / Food & Beverage Administration position within the hospitality industry.
Advanced experience in the application and administration of business procedures.
Strong understanding of HACCP food safety standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly developed time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated use of analytical skills.
Proficient computer literacy with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Capable of working effectively in a pressurised environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and an understanding of commercial in confidence practices.
Must hold a Food Handling Certificate.
