This is a rare opportunity to enter the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) industry, a sector experiencing strong demand and a significant skills shortage. Key responsibilities include:

- Provide application support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for laboratory and enterprise software systems.
- Ensure all software activities work smoothly with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) processes, such as change control management.
- Develop and support system interfaces and integration across laboratory and enterprise systems.
- Build and extend business intelligence (BI) dashboards and reporting solutions to deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, IT teams, and external consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Make everyone’s life easier & help the company run smoother.
- Upholding food safety, WHS, and AWRI project management standards

About you

To be successful, you will bring:

- Proven experience in software design and development.
- Robust knowledge of SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, optimization).
- Understanding of change control in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Computer Systems Validation (CSV).
- Experience working in or supporting laboratory environments.
- Programming experience, ideally in Python.
- Proficiency with dashboarding and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Experience with or interest in LabWare LIMS (training provided).
- Knowledge of GLP, ISO 17025, and regulatory compliance.
- API development and system integration experience.
- Exposure to food and beverage or commercial laboratory industries.

What success looks like (KPIs & outcomes):

- Deliver reliable, well-documented software solutions on time and to specification.
- Maintain high system uptime and responsiveness for LIMS and related applications.
- Resolve application support issues within agreed response times and achieve positive user feedback.
- Provide accurate, timely BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure 100% compliance with CSV, GLP, and audit requirements.
- Drive continuous improvements that reduce manual processes and enhance efficiency.
