* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports to support strategic decision-making processes.
* Assist in the preparation of forecasts, budgets and financial models.
* Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary to key stakeholders.
* Evaluate compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
* Support end-of-period and year-end closing processes.
* Maintain and improve internal financial systems and processes for increased efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable financial insights and recommendations.
* Assist in ad-hoc financial projects as required.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
A successful Management Accountant should possess:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study.
* CA or CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
* Proven experience in management accounting within the professional services industry sector.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
