About the role
Red Cross believes that everyone deserves a home that is safe, secure and affordable.In this role you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Case Workers delivering vital case management support within the Homelessness Service Hub. The Hub provides a range of information, support, housing and specialist services to assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and acts as a single entry point to find housing and support in Townsville.
What you will bring
* Significant experience within the homelessness sector
* Proven track record as an effective leader, supporting and building constructive relationships within teams
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills
* Experience in providing programs to clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
* Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in use of software applications
* Working with Children Check
