Morson Edge Recruitment is partnering with a close-knit fire protection team seeking an experienced Fire Pump Technician to service, maintain, repair, and test diesel and electric pump sets across Sydney sites - This role is ideal for someone with industry experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. This is a hands-on, field-based role working across schools, strata, and commercial sites, reporting directly to the Service Manager whilst working autonomously. This is a rare opportunity for the right person to step in and play a key role in growing and shaping the wet fire services division of the business. Company vehicle, fuel card, and e-tag provided Full tools, materials, uniform, and phone supplied Ongoing training, development, and investment in your future Opportunity to help build and lead a growing division Role Responsibilities: Service, repair, and maintenance of electric and diesel fire pumps Carry out sprinkler and hydrant flow testing Monthly and annual testing programs Fault finding, repairs, and overhauls Oil, valve, and filter changes General wet system works (minor works as required) 5-yearly pump set servicing 5-yearly overhauls of landing valves and sprinkler alarm valves About you: Must hold either a Sprinkler Fitter qualification or Plumbing Licence Experience in the fire protection industry is essential, with strong hands-on experience working with fire pumps also required. Able to work autonomously and take ownership of work Strong problem-solving and technical ability Experience in a field service role highly regarded Reliable, trustworthy, and willing to grow with the business What makes this role different?
