**Compliance Specialist** to join the team with the option to work from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. **The Role**
This is a diverse & exciting role, you will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Manager in the provision of compliance services across NTI. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of NTI's compliance framework and support the development of a strong compliance culture within the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining Compliance Obligations Registers
- Coordinate the design and roll out of Compliance plans across NTI to ensure plans are operationalised throughout the businesses including controls and monitoring testing programs.
- Support NTI's compliance obligations and promote a positive compliance culture as an integral part of ensuring good governance and operational excellence at NTI.
- Act as a proactive advisor ensuring that identified compliance requirements are effectively managed and changes are implemented
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including legal, risk management, and business leaders, to promote a culture of compliance across the organization.
- Undertake compliance assurance activities, and document outcomes appropriately.
- Stakeholder on project initiatives through providing compliance advice.
- Conduct incident assessments involving evaluating and analysing of compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and the management of recording of registers and ongoing reporting.
- Support the Compliance Manager in developing training, awareness, and education, actively promote a strong culture of compliance within the business
- Support the development and ongoing management of NTI's self-assessment systems ensuring ongoing compliance of responsibilities.
**Desirable Qualifications**
- Tier 2 Compliance qualification
- ANZIIF Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business or related field
**Skills Required**:
- Minimum 3 years compliance experience (highly desirable)
- Knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry and relevant compliance obligations
- Experience in managing obligations within the financial services or insurance industry
