**The Opportunity**
Join us as a Mentor Coordinator and play a vital role in shaping the future of gerontological nursing You'll lead the Gerontological Nursing Competencies (GNCs) program, providing essential mentorship to new graduate and early-career Registered Nurses (RNs). With your expertise in aged care and commitment to professional development, you'll guide and motivate practitioners through the program's five steps, supporting both participants and mentors. In this dynamic role, you'll facilitate workshops, assess progress, collaborate with industry partners, and contribute to research goals. **You will**
- Coordinate the GNCs Mentorship program (including recruiting, training and supporting mentors) to support Mentors (internal and external) with clinical backgrounds to participate in the GNCs program;
- Mentor participants of the GNCs program to support successful completion the program;
- Work collaboratively with Facilitators to deliver workshop material during the GNCs program (including teaching via virtual workshop, assessment marking and providing feedback); and
- Coordinate surveys, collect data and conduct interviews to contribute to reports on the program's outcomes and impact.
**About you**
You are a flexible and adaptable professional who excels in managing project outcomes within a clinical environment. With strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, you navigate complex challenges with confidence, adjusting your approach to meet both project goals and stakeholder needs. Your ability to consider multiple perspectives, including those of consumers, carers, clinicians, and service providers ensures that your decisions and strategies are inclusive, thoughtful, and effective.
**You will possess**:
- Completion of a postgraduate degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Extensive leadership and management experience, including the ability to supervise and mentor clinicians and adapt strategies to ensure project outcomes in a research environment;
- Expertise in specialist Gerontology and/or
