The Department of Health is seeking qualified applicants for two positions of Clinical Nurse Consultant Lead Practitioner for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) located in Tasmania.
This role is part of our new teams developed under the CYMHS reform program, delivering clinical services to young people and their families experiencing mental health issues.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Lead Practitioner will provide high-level clinical leadership and support the Team Leader to deliver high-quality mental health services in accordance with strategic plans, standards, policies, legal requirements, and professional competencies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including developing specialised treatment programs.

The salary for this position is $114,851 to $121,886 per annum plus 11% superannuation. Benefits include salary packaging, living expenses up to $9,010, and meal entertainment allowance of $2,650 per FBT year.
The ideal candidate must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and hold a postgraduate mental health qualification or equivalent.
