A privately owned Australian retail and services group is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll function. Excellent benefits and a modern, collaborative office environment.

Responsibilities
* Lead a team, including a system administrator, to deliver accurate fortnightly payroll
* Ensure compliance with Awards across Australia & NZ
* Manage PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, terminations, redundancies
* Month-end and year-end reconciliations, reporting & audits
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
* Provide trusted payroll advice to HR, Finance and business leaders
Requirements
* 3+ years' payroll management experience in multi-entity or complex environments
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, agreements and complex payroll calculations
* Proven leadership and team development experience
* Experience with payroll systems such as Kronos or similar
* Strong compliance, reconciliation, reporting and audit skills
* Detail-oriented, accountable and comfortable working in a fast-paced business
