A leading Australian food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the operations of one of its key Queensland production facilities. The site plays a critical role in supplying major retail and industrial customers across Australia and operates within a high-volume, multi-line environment.

Opportunity
The Site Manager will lead all aspects of site operations, including production, packaging, maintenance, and warehousing. The role suits a leader who is hands-on, organised, and focused on driving a strong team culture.
Key Priorities
Lead the on-site leadership team across production, packaging, quality, and maintenance functions.
Set clear direction and expectations to strengthen culture and performance.
Build collaboration between departments and ensure consistent communication across the site.
Lift operational standards around safety, quality, and reliability.
Support site efficiency projects and process improvements.
Partner with national functions across Safety, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on systems and priorities.
Maintain a strong floor presence and visible leadership style.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a senior site or operations leadership role within FMCG or food manufacturing.
Strong leadership and team development skills with a practical, steady approach.
Solid understanding of production systems, maintenance, and quality management.
Experience applying Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies to achieve measurable outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
High level of ownership and accountability with the ability to lead through change.
Background in broader food or ingredient manufacturing is highly regarded.
Location & Salary
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia | A$130,****** – A$140,****** per annum.
