Reporting to the Construction Manager, we are seeking a Maintenance Specialist who will be responsible for assessing and managing maintenance requests and carrying out approved work on client and company assets.
The Role
This is a vehicle-based, mobile role operating within the greater Adelaide region and across Sarah Homes, Gallery Living and Atlas Living brands within the South Australian housing market. The role interacts with construction and operations staff, clients, and suppliers.
* Receive and assess maintenance requests for client and display homes
* Carry out approved maintenance and minor building works
* Deliver an active maintenance program to ensure a consistent standard of presentation across display homes and other built assets
* Assist with the completion, fit-out, and presentation of new display homes
* Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in the assessment, scheduling, and completion of maintenance works
* Audit and report quality or completion issues as required by the Construction Manager
* Ensure all work is undertaken safely and in accordance with required qualifications, standards, and procedures
* Accurately assess, complete, and record maintenance work and communications using the Longridge Group CMS system
About You
* A recognised building trade qualification
* A high level of skill and knowledge in residential building maintenance
* Proven ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplined team environment
* Proven ability to work independently without close supervision
* A flexible and committed approach to learning new procedures, functions, and tasks
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workload effectively
