**About the role**
As Associate Director/Director, you will be adept at providing advice that may span across the entire lifecycle of major defence infrastructure projects. This typically includes:
- Strategic commercial, cost management, estimating and technical advice to clients planning, delivering and investing in major defence infrastructure & development projects
- Establishing the frameworks and managing the execution of governance, procurement, tendering, assessments, and approvals of major defence infrastructure projects
- Providing commercial, technical, and operational due diligence of defence assets; and
- Supporting claims and disputes and other expert services engagements.
- Additionally, you will:
- Be responsible for delivering high-quality documents/outcomes as required by the scope of services, client management, management of resources, budgets etc.
- Lead an integrated project team of Cost Consultants/Cost Advisory Specialists with multi-disciplinary membership from the RPS businesses, client organisation and other advisors
- Work with the RPS team in Business Development, seeking new clients and assignments; and
- Leading the preparation of tenders/proposals for opportunities aligned with RPS capabilities
**About you**
You will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
- Australian Citizen, with the ability to obtain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance
- Demonstrated experience working client side on planning and delivery phases on Defence Infrastructure projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to multi-disciplinary audiences, including senior executive-level clients
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to manage and grow business relationships
