We are seeking a
high‑performing finance professional
to join a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing sector on a short‑term contract. This role is ideal for someone who can
hit the ground running

lead by example
, and
partner effectively with senior stakeholders
while delivering
commercial insights
and supporting
month‑end processes
.
You'll play a key role in
margin analysis
,
dashboard‑driven reporting
, and
business partnering
across multiple regions, including Asia. The successful candidate will combine
technical excellence
with strong
communication and influencing skills
, helping to plug gaps in the team and drive high performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver
commercial analysis
including margin, profitability, and variance insights with actionable recommendations.
* Partner with senior stakeholders (including Asia leadership) to provide concise, impactful financial support.
* Shape and leverage
dashboards
(Power BI/Excel) to enhance reporting and decision‑making.
* Support
month‑end close
activities (P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, WIP, accruals).
* Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning initiatives.
* Drive process improvements and help upskill team members.
About You
* CPA/CA qualified (or equivalent).
* Strong experience in
FP&A, commercial analysis, and stakeholder partnering
.
* Hands‑on exposure to
month‑end accounting
and reconciliations.
* Advanced Excel skills (VBA, Power BI highly regarded).
* ERP experience (SAP or similar).
* Manufacturing or engineering industry experience preferred.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build credibility quickly.
