Podiatrist Role Overview

The Podiatrist role at Optimum Health Solutions offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of patients.

Key Responsibilities

* General Foot Care: Provide routine foot care services to patients, including nail cutting, callus removal and minor wound management.
* Diabetic Foot Care: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients with diabetes-related foot complications.
* Nail Surgery: Perform various types of nail surgery, including partial and total nail avulsion.
* Musculoskeletal and Biomechanics: Assess and treat musculoskeletal disorders affecting the feet and ankles.
* Custom Orthotics: Design and manufacture custom orthotic devices to support and correct foot abnormalities.
* Paediatrics: Provide podiatric care to children and adolescents, including diagnosis and treatment of foot-related conditions.
* NDIS: Work closely with NDIS participants to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements

* Entry Level Qualifications in Podiatry: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
