Overview
Gympie Regional Council currently has four exciting opportunities for experienced multiskilled operators. We are seeking two Team Members for Logistics & Quarries and two Team Members for Quarry Operations. These are full-time permanent positions.
Remuneration: annual salary commencing at
$70,883
, plus up to 13% superannuation.

About the Region
Gympie is at the heart of a rapidly expanding region, stretching from rural valleys to the Cooloola Coast. Responsibilities
Team Members Logistics & Quarries (x2)
: perform a diverse range of heavy vehicle and plant operations, labouring duties, and support production of quarry materials and infrastructure maintenance in a multi-disciplinary team.
Team Members Quarry Operations (x2)
: support quarry production under direction of the Quarry Supervisor, undertake labouring, plant operation and truck driving tasks as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring work aligns with recognised standards.
Qualifications
Queensland Driver Licence Class Heavy-Combination (HC) or above (current and maintained).
RIIMP0320F Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations
RIIMPO321B Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled front end loader Operations
RIIMPO337D Conduct articulated haul truck operations
Construction Industry White/Blue Card
Understanding of the Mining Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 and the Mining Quarrying Safety and Health Regulations 2017
Demonstrated ability to plan daily work activities and quarry production, follow verbal and written instructions, and work remotely when required
Ability to operate plant, vehicles, equipment and tools competently and safely
Ability to maintain harmony within a team and foster positive relationships with council staff and the public
