Q Dermatology is looking to add to its compliment of warm and professional staff.
Located in a bright and aesthetic office with views to Brisbane City, Q Dermatology is focused on providing exceptional care to our patients in an uplifting environment.
The role is **casual 4-5 days per week, with a view of performance-based full time employment.** Hours of work are between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday and an occasional Saturday morning, with a varied roster to cover clinic hours. **The role would be across our two practices at Taringa and Cleveland.**
Our clinics are conveniently located close to public transport (train and bus).

Full training will be provided, however experience with the following would be advantageous:
- Previous experience in a fast paced medical clinic or similar, preferably a surgical practice
- A working knowledge of Medicare and DVA billing
- Experience working with Dermatologists in either/ both clinic and hospital environments
- Clinical knowledge of common dermatology concerns
- Knowledge of materials and instruments required for dermatology procedures
- Experience with sterilisation of instruments
- Experience with Microsoft office programmes favourable
The key responsibilities of the role would include:
- Providing warm and professional clinical service to patients
- Assisting clinical treatment performed by Doctors
- Correct use of passing instruments and materials, specimen documentation and knowledge of instrumentation
- Briefing and debriefing patients on treatment and procedures
- Maintaining the needs of our patients throughout procedures
- Completing and maintaining patient documentation
- Making appointments and surgery bookings across multiple clinic and hospital location
- Cleans surgery and consulting rooms thoroughly
- Taking phone calls and attending to enquiries
- Attending to incoming and outgoing correspondence, mainly via an electronic channel
- Providing administrative support to Doctors
- Working cohesively with fellow receptionists and clinical staff
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with referring doctors, key medical personnel and their representatives
