About us
CQ SPACE is on a mission to change the game for end‐of‐life care and doing it with heart. Our goal? Ensure older people in aged care get the kind of palliative support they deserve. Backed by a national push to lift the quality of care, our team works across Central Queensland to bring specialist palliative care straight into residential aged care homes and multi‐purpose health services.
About the role
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you're the calm, confident expert leading the way in palliative care, making sure every resident starting their end‐of‐life journey gets care that is thoughtful, coordinated, and genuinely centred around them.
You're out in the field shaping how care happens. One minute you're guiding families through important care planning conversations; the next, you're teaming up with providers, building strong relationships, and making sure best‐practice care is being delivered. You'll connect the dots across services, bring people together, and keep things running smoothly. There's a bit of travel, plenty of variety, and lots of opportunities to build networks and influence how palliative care is delivered across the region.
About you
* Rockstar RN: AHPRA registered, practising certificate in hand, ready to take the lead in palliative care (bonus points if you've got a postgrad in Palliative Care).
* Can work solo and collaborate like a pro with a multidisciplinary team, keeping care smooth, integrated, and life‐changing for residents.
* Tech‐savvy? Great. You'll pick up (or already know) Microsoft Office, HBCIS, DMWM, and secure web‐transfer like a champ.
* Expect heartfelt moments too: facilitating case conferences, helping residents and families document future health choices, and making sure their voices are heard.
