Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with a global engineering leader to recruit a Sales Manager responsible for managing major accounts, expanding into new markets, and leading high‐value commercial opportunities across the Energy Recovery and thermal engineering sectors.This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role with strong visibility, autonomy, and global exposure.About the RoleIn this pivotal position, you will oversee and grow sales across Australia, the Pacific Rim, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Managing multimillion‐dollar proposals, you will collaborate closely with technical, commercial, and project teams to influence and deliver industry-leading energy recovery, waste heat recovery, and engineering solutions.You will manage a small local team and work closely with international agents and internal stakeholders to drive revenue, execute strategies, and build long‐term customer relationships.This role is based in Fairfield and offers a hybrid arrangement (1 day WFH). Frequent domestic and international travel is required.Key ResponsibilitiesManage existing key accounts and drive growth in targeted offshore and onshore markets.Lead major bid submissions, proposals, and multimillion‐dollar contract negotiations.Conduct monthly reporting to the global leadership team on sales performance and pipeline visibility.Collaborate with Technical, Commercial, and Project teams on solution development and customer proposals.Attend trade shows, customer site visits, and industry events (local and international).Conduct weekly sales alignment meetings, including coordination with the SEA Sales Manager.Manage relationships with overseas agents in Japan, Malaysia, Italy, and the Middle East.Deliver presentations, technical discussions, and market insights to internal and external stakeholders.Maintain deep understanding of customer requirements across offshore (primary) and onshore markets.Support long‐term growth strategies and market penetration initiatives.Skills & ExperienceStrong background in technical sales, ideally with exposure to Energy Recovery, Waste Heat Recovery, thermal engineering, or similar high‐value engineered solutions.Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar (highly regarded).Proven track record in B2B engineering sales, including complex proposals and solution‐based selling.Experience managing or collaborating with technical and project teams.Ability to build relationships with engineering consultancies, EPCs, and large multinational customers.Excellent communication, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills.Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to monthly internationally).Why Apply?Work for a respected global engineering leader.Permanent, full-time role with strong autonomy and influence.Hybrid flexibility – 1 day per week Work From Home.High-impact, international scope with opportunities to shape business growth.Exposure to major global customers across the offshore, energy, and industrial sectors.How to ApplyTo apply, please: Email your resume to: ashish.bhetwal@chandlermacleod.comor Click the "Apply Now" button.
