Your new company
An opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Officer to join a structured and high‐performing finance team on a temporary contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts receivable expertise who enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment and is committed to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Your new role
* Managing end‐to‐end Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, receipting, allocations and reconciliations
* Preparing and issuing customer invoices in line with contracts, pricing and payment terms
* Processing daily customer payments and reconciling receipts to bank statements
* Monitoring aged receivables and actively following up overdue accounts
* Maintaining accurate customer accounts within the ERP system
* Responding to billing and payment enquiries and liaising with internal stakeholders
* Preparing AR reports and assisting with month‐end and year‐end close processes
* Completing bank reconciliations and managing fuel cards
* Supporting Accounts Payable during peak periods as required
* Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and audit requirements
* Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or Finance Officer role, ideally within a medium to large organisation
* Strong understanding of billing, receipting and credit control processes
* Experience using ERP systems (Xero, Sage or Simpro highly regarded
* High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and a customer‐focused approach
