Overview
Operate CNC cutting machines (rotary/tube cutting machine, plate and sheet laser cutting machine and press brake, pan brake folding machines) to produce precision components and assemblies.
Interpret technical drawings, markups, CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication.
Perform setup and calibration of machines for specific jobs.
Monitor machine operation and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
Carry out basic maintenance on equipment and ensure machines are kept in good working condition.
Work closely with the production teams to ensure smooth workflow and constructability
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Experienced and proficient in a broad range of materials from mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, including sheet, plate, pipe and various extrusions etc
Excellent fabrication and maintenance skills
Proficient in operation of hand and power tools
Experienced in workshop fabrication including pan brake, press brake, guillotines etc
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC machine operator or metal fabricator (highly favourable)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, tooling, and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of materials (e.g., Mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift license and experience (highly favourable)
- Capable and willing to perform manual/physical work
- Welding and metal fabrication skills particularly with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- Drivers license and means of transport to arrive to work punctually

- 3 day weekend. Normal working pattern is Tuesday-Friday 7am-4:30pm with Mondays taken off (please not subject to project requirements we may swap the working day from Friday to Monday)
