At Cabrini, every team member plays a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care – including our Finance team.
We're on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-focused Patient Accounts Administrator to join our experienced and supportive team.
In this role, you'll help ensure timely follow-up of claims for services provided at Cabrini – including Medicare, DVA, TAC, and WorkCover.
Your work helps patients focus on what matters most: their health.
What your day will look like:
Following up on unpaid accounts with patients, Medicare, DVA, TAC, WorkCover, and other third-party providers
Investigating and resolving Medicare rejections
Assisting patients and their families with account-related queries (via phone and email)
Supporting the wider team by learning additional roles to provide cover when needed
Maintaining strong connections between the Patient Accounts team and other departments
Ensuring every interaction reflects the high standard of care Cabrini is known for
About You:
You're a people-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
You're also:
Experienced in accounts receivable, ideally within a private healthcare, medical, or health insurance setting
Confident with medical claiming processes and collections
Familiar with systems such as WebPas and Pracsoft
Meticulous when it comes to detail
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
