We are looking for a junior project manager with a hands‐on mindset to help shape the future of entertainment. The role is based in Melbourne and will work closely with partners, providers and venues.
Who you'll work with
You will join our office in Melbourne and collaborate with Marketing, Operations and other departments to grow Fever's pipeline of original events. The team is motivated, young and diverse, with a strong background in consultancy and technology.
What you'll do
As a Junior Project Manager, you will develop, launch, and manage events from conception to delivery. You will work with your team lead and cross‐functional partners to scale events across markets, own strategic planning, execution and reporting, and drive improvements in operational processes.
* Provide a detailed analysis of business opportunities and inefficiencies; propose changes to operational processes and drive high standards in customer satisfaction.
* Manage events from conception to delivery, working with existing partners and developing new relationships.
* Help scale the experiences across Australia.
* Coordinate with the different internal teams at Fever.
* Work with the Fever marketing team to ensure events impact ticket sales and coverage.
* Manage, report on, and grow revenue from scalable events.
* Represent the Fever brand at events.
* Make informed decisions based on data, including P&L analysis.
* Collaborate with the global scalable events team on various brands in other markets.
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ year in a project management role or consulting background. Experience in events is not required.
* Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical, relationship‐management and organisational skills, with the ability to pick up new skills quickly.
* Solution‐focused, identifying problem areas and creating resolution plans.
* Strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships.
* Highly organised and efficient.
* Curious and keen to push boundaries and try new concepts.
* Excellent networking skills and the ability to create successful partnerships.
* Ability to communicate effectively with event partners, brands, agencies and talent.
* Essential Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Able to manage large volumes of work and parallel work‐streams.
* Collaborative and willing to engage in all required event tasks.
* Knowledge of promotional tools such as Facebook and Instagram is a plus.
* Strong academic background is a plus.
