Haleon ANZ is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the team. This role is an exciting opportunity to provide efficient and effective quality support to the business. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day disposition of incoming goods and materials, ensuring they meet quality specifications and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, you will oversee quality processes, support the business with quality training initiatives, and work closely with the ANZ Quality Lead to build a sustainable and robust Quality organisation. This role promises a blend of responsibility, collaboration, and the chance to make a significant impact on our quality standards.
Your day
- Perform release disposition of incoming goods and materials
- Manage product quality complaints
- Support, provide guidance and/or lead investigations triggered by local incidents and deviations
- Support management of change controls ensuring planned changes are effectively and compliantly managed.
- Support the communication, implementation and maintenance of effective QMS (Quality Management System) and improvements
- Develop and deliver SOP and quality training materials
- Support the business and ANZ Quality Lead, to ensure that all internal procedures and systems in use within LOC (Local Operating Company) are compliant to Haleon QMS
- Perform activities to support the risk management process to ensure effective management, timely reporting, review, and escalation of quality risks
- Manage third party service providers
- Data analysis and provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance.
You will have
- Quality experience within the industry and application of Quality Systems
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Problem identification and solving skills
- Initiative-taker, able to schedule and progress workload
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to GMP & Medsafe expectations.
- Knowledge on effective quality documentation systems
- Proficient writing skills
- Able to work as part of a team and cross-functionally
- Experience in SAP and Quality Management System is a benefit
- Experience within a commercial quality position preferred
