Would consider a 2nd or 3rd year existing apprentice cabinet maker.Tasks & responsibilitiesOn site installation and cabinet assembly in factory, use of Panel saw, cnc, edge bander etc.
All aspects of cabinet making.Full training provided.About the RoleWe are looking to employ a full time Apprentice to join our team.Your responsibilities would include but not limited to:Assisting on joinery and cabinetry installations as required.Workshop labouring – machining timber, assembling cabinets and furniture, manufacturing doors, preparing equipment, keeping workplace tidy and free of obstacles.Use of basic hand tools.Keeping job sites clean and tidy.Fitting hinges, drawers and shelvesWorking with solid timber and manufactured board products.Attendance of Tafe as required.About the PersonThe following attributes will be highly regarded:Solid mathematical skills.Strong Problem-Solving skillsMechanically minded and able to use hand and power tools.Ability to follow procedures and directions from supervisors.Able to manage time and meet deadlines.Good written and verbal communication.Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.RequirementsThe following are required for the job:Reliable with a solid work ethic.Ability to read drawings and accurate use of tape measure.An Appropriate Level of Fitness for the Demands of the Role.If you think you have what it takes, then we want to hear from you.
