The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) is responsible for driving sustainable growth of Envu's Range &
Pasture (R+P) portfolio by delivering high-quality technical support to the rural retail channel and end-use customers.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, the TSS develops and executes a Technical Services Activity Plan (TSAP) aligned to R+P commercial priorities. The role focuses on in-field technical demonstrations, product education, stewardship, and the development of high-quality technical resources to support rural retailers, buying groups, and end users.
The TSS acts as the primary technical contact for major rural retail buying groups within R+P, including Nutrien, Elders, AgLink, NRI, and key independent retailers.
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
* Technical Services Plan - operational
* Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and the STSM to develop, refine, and execute the annual
R+P Technical Services Activity Plan (TSAP)
* Ensure strong alignment between technical activities and R+P commercial objectives
* Provide regular progress updates and transparent reporting against TSAP deliverables to the
STSM and R+P Commercial Segment Lead (ANZ)
* Communicate bi-monthly updates to the wider R+P team on progress, outcomes, and upcoming
* Technical activities to ensure in-field alignment
Planned Call Frequency - operational
Key activity targets reflected in the TSAP include:
* 12 demonstration / field day events per year (targeting top ten strategic rural retail locations) coordinated with Business Development Managers
* Delivery of 4 online technical seminars and 8 face-to-face training events, incorporating product stewardship principles
* Extension of technical reach and efficiency through close collaboration with the commercial sales team
* Act as the primary point of contact for all technical services enquiries relating to the R+P portfolio
New Customers – operational
* Demonstrate a clear, structured technical engagement strategy with Top 10 Rural Retail
branches
* Support customers through a defined product adoption journey, from awareness through to
confident product use
Performance targets
* Consistent execution of the agreed Technical Services Activity Plan, delivering all key activities on time and to standard
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key national and regional rural retail agronomists and recognised industry opinion leaders
* Develop a visible professional profile in-market, with the goal of being recognised as a subject matter expert in R+P technical solutions
* Uphold Envu's product stewardship standards through professional conduct, education, and best-practice guidance
* Partner closely with R+P Business Development Managers to support priority commercial initiatives
* Provide secondary technical support for product complaints and respond promptly to inbound technical enquiries
* Accurate and timely recording of activities and interactions in D365 CRM
* Meet service expectations for response times (typically within 24–48 hours)
* Track and report on key engagement metrics, including:
* Attendance at field days and training events
* Number of demonstration trials initiated and completed

* Bachelor's degree in science, a related technical field, agriculture, chemistry, (or equivalent).
* 2 - 5 years' experience in related role or industry
