Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and with at least one full year of nursing experience. Our Registered Nurses perform reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). Minimum one full year of nursing experience. Ability to work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations.

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. Bathurst Correctional Centre is a mixed‑security facility for male offenders located in the centre of Bathurst, 1 hour from Orange and the Blue Mountains, and 210 kilometres west of Sydney. On‑site you'll find a close‑knit clinical team led by a passionate & enthusiastic Nurse Unit Manager that encourages the development of staff. Working within the Primary care team, you'll enjoy fantastic training & education opportunities all the while working alongside Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Population Health, and Aboriginal Chronic Care teams.
Salary & Benefits
Your hourly rate of $78,346.12 - $104,336.27 (+ superannuation and leave loading) is just the beginning.
